In honor of all of those who lost their lives during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I would like to just take a moment to show my respects. If I remember correctly, I was only in 2nd grade when this fateful day came around so I can honestly say that I don’t know how I thought of it. I probably didn’t understand. I know that I didn’t understand why everyone was so scared or upset. I don’t remember seeing much news coverage, my parents tried to make sure I wasn’t bothered by such a catastrophe. Today, as a twenty-one year old college student, I completely understand the impact that this fateful day had on the country. Thirteen years ago, we lost so many people to such heinous people.

Again, in honor of all of the brave people who lost their lives that day, we will never forget. 9/11/01
