Okay, so I got your attention, didn’t I? In a recent interview with Charles Dance who portrayed Twin Lannister in the most exquisite way explained that he treated Peter Dinklage poorly…here’s how….
Tywin was a great character to play because although the thing is set in this mythical land, it’s nevertheless based on a medieval, feudal society where you what you had to do to maintain your position in that society — and that’s what Tywin Lannister did. But I did spend a lot of time apologizing to little Peter Dinklage, who I adore, because I treated him like s— all the time. Some of the things I said to him were horrendous. I was always laughing at how horrendously he behaved.
Okay, so this wasn’t in the way you thought but it still is interesting how often he had to apologize because of the things he said. Ex: ‘you’re no son of mine’. Ouch! I know Jack Gleeson who portrayed Joffrey Baratheon was constantly apologizing to Sophie Turner who portrays Sansa Stark for all the horrendous things he had to say and do to her character. From what Sophie says, he always asked how she was doing after a take and gave her a hug. See, not all bad. Hahaha
Well, you can read the full article here. The interview was for Dance’s new movie ‘Dracula Untold’ which looks phenomenal and he talks mainly about that but the interviewer had to ask about Game of Thrones. I really hope you enjoyed…it is a quite humorous and awesome article. Go on, give it a read!
