Okay, I can’t do this. Like at all. I’ve never been good at photo editing…video editing is more my thing. Sorry :/

This is probably the only day where I won’t really contribute to the challenge but I can give you some news:

I discovered a new 30 Day Challenge while searching the web the other night and that one isn’t as complex as this. In fact, it’s much more straight-forward than the one I am doing now. So, I will be doing that one starting after this one (obviously) but just wanted to let you know. 🙂

Day 15: Free Day

So, I didn’t get a chance to do this yesterday and I honestly have no idea what to do. -sigh- I don’t know how to make gifs or really good art. I can make videos with my Sony Vegas software but I lack GoT footage so I’m at a loss there.

I guess I’ll do something fun and post two videos that I found hilarious during the last hiatus we went through waiting for season 4.

The first video is an honest trailer for the show that was posted on April 1, 2014 (ironic) and was uploaded by the youtube channel, Screen Junkies. Enjoy!

New Season 5 Set Pics!

I’ve seen this floating around on the internet the past couple of days and I just want to say thanks to my professor for sending a link my way. Because of this, I was able to head over to screencrush.com and check out some new set pics for season 5. It’s hiatus season so the new pictures and potential spoilers will start hitting the internet up until the premiere (as always).

Some of the pictures include Tyrion, Arya, and I believe I saw Mace Tyrell and Ser Meryn (the late king’s loyal guard). The article mentions a lot of names so I won’t try to sum it up here but what the article does say is:

It’s a bit difficult to decipher exactly what photos were taken where, but most exciting is that Tyrion seems to have donned some unfamiliar undercover clothes in his new life abroad, similar to Maisie Williams’ Arya in her trip to Braavos.

Now, this really is exciting! I love hiatus season just for all this because it really does build the excitement but nothing compares to the season itself. I’m really looking forward to what they plan on doing with this season and I’ve heard a rumor there may be some Winds of Winter scenes in the upcoming season. Whether or not that is true is yet to be determined.

Winterfell Rises

Everyone was distraught when Winterfell was burned to the ground (especially if your a Stark fan) but good news: Winterfell is being rebuilt for season 5. Why you ask? I can honestly say I don’t know but a few pictures have been released of the newly built set (although it still looks as if it has much more re-building to face).

When we last left Winterfell, the Stark ancestral home was burning to the ground, courtesy of Ramsay Bolton, née Snow. Now that Ramsay has a new name, an inheritance and leave to own the place, it looks like it’s time to rebuild.

I don’t know about you but it’s about time we get to see Winterfell again. I really hope the Starks can reclaim it though. In my opinion, I hope Sansa does. All hail the Queen of the North! Hehe

Just a little fun….

So, I discovered on my RSS feed a new challenge. No, it won’t be another 30 day challenge but it’s just a quick one where you list your favorite character and give three reasons why you would hate them. I thought this would be a lot of fun because my favorite character is Joffrey and it really is very hard to like him but I do so here are three reasons why I would hate him.

1) He really undermines women. Like, a lot. He thinks they are stupid and don’t have any original thoughts that are worth anything. It’s a bit of a turn off.

2) He is such a mama’s boy! Oh my gosh, this bugs me so much! I like to assume that he has original thoughts that don’t result in physical harm but I think he is easily influenced by his mother so much that he does whatever she says but then calls her stupid later (see reason #1)

3) He really is over confident because he is the king. He thinks because he is the king, no one can hurt him or say rude things to him. First off, no. It doesn’t work like that. As a king, you have to do things to earn the people’s respect and he doesn’t do that very much. This airy over-confidence set him up for failure and led to his ultimate demise.

I still think he is a very amusing character regardless of his flaws. I empathize with the villain in almost anything so I will probably always like him. I also take everything he does and says with a grain a salt because he really is just a big talker and that’s it. Haha.

Day 14: Who do you think Jon Snow‘s parents are?

SPOILERS…MAYBE…JUST A FAN THEORY GOING AROUND THAT I AGREE WITH BUT PROCEED WITH CAUTION OR DON’T…IT’S YOU CHOICE 😛

For the longest time, I honestly thought he was Ned Stark’s son. But, I was naive then and had no idea about really anything on the show. I have recently read theories and things of that nature and I agree with the one of him being Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark’s son. It made sense to me because he never mentioned it to Jon, he never defended himself when Catelyn made him feel worse about it, and when Robert asked him to describe the “whore” he had been with, he wouldn’t. It’s all these little clues that have led me to the conclusion but apparently it has led everyone to this conclusion….. R+L=J right?

Okay, so this appeared on my RSS feed last night and I’ll admit I giggled quite a bit at this because it is not only oh so true but because I called number one. If you go into reading this and you have no idea what number one would be, obviously you haven’t been paying attention. Haha, I kid!

However, the list provides I believe two videos so there is brief nudity but if you watch the show, I can’t see how that would bother you.

Haha…this is funny. I’m going to go with no. I don’t like the cold….at all. I couldn’t live at the wall for the rest of my life freezing to death and then having the impending thought of a white walker killing me in my sleep. No thanks. But, for those who want to take the black and their vows…sweet….we need people to defend the wall. This coming winter is going to be long and cold so help defend us! Haha. Wow, I’m an idiot.

GoT 30 Day Challenge (Day 12)

I know…I know…I’m behind…AGAIN! I am really bad at this. But, I’m going to go ahead and do days 12 and 13 and then I should be back on track for 14 tomorrow. So, here we go.

Day 12: If there was a crossover…who would you ship? 

Okay, so for those who don’t know what a crossover is, you basically take a character from one fandom and romance them with someone from another fandom. It’s odd but I’ve seen it. A lot. I’m not personally a big fan of crossovers so, honestly, I can’t really answer this question. I don’t think I could romance Joffrey with anyone outside the GoT universe…he would probably just kill them -_-

I’m sorry I’m not able to give a better answer but, for me, crossovers aren’t that appealing but if it’s your thing….GO FOR IT! Please, I love reading crossover fanfiction just to see how author’s minds work so if you find an interesting one, send it my way, I’ll give it a try 🙂

‘You Haven’t Seen the Last of Tywin Lannister.’ Wait…What?

It really is hard to forget the epic season 4 finale no matter how hard you try. So much went down but, for me, the most shocking was when Tyrion killed his father, Tywin, in the most interesting setting we could possibly get. However, in a recent interview with Charles Dance who has graced the show playing the late Tywin Lannister, he said he was not completely missing out on season 5. Now, I could have swore I saw him die at the end of last season but lets just keep all options open. Weirder things have happened.

During the interview with MTV UK, Charles Dance had this to say:

I’m not completely missing out on the next season. More than that, I’m not going to say. You have’t seen the last of Tywin Lannister, is all I’ll say. 

Well, I’ll give him credit for not giving too much away but this opens up a plethora of theories and reasons as to why he would appear next season. The article does further give theories that are pulled from the book A Feast For Crows so read at your own risk. I’m not responsible if you spoil yourself. 😛 However, I did read the full article and it makes a lot of sense, that’s all I’m saying.
